Picnic Project Mishaps

I'm baaaaaaacck.

and totally discouraged on my whole projects, projects, projects plan.
Here's why:This is an old picnic basket I found for 10 bucks. It's classic picnic style, but because it is indeed, old--it needed to be touched up a bit. So, the artsy-project-me bought some fabric.
And ghetto-rigged it up.

Here's what I learned:
  1. Fabric scissors would be a good investment.
  2. It's time to bring home the sewing machine and supplies. I folded instead of hemmed.
  3. A yard stick makes cutting straight lines less impossible. Get one.
  4. Pay attention to fabric before you sew/glue it in place. Those daffodils are sideways.
  5. The artsy-project-me has A LOT of learning to do.
