Hour Two on Tuesday: Revelations

I guess it's time to get back to it. Living, that is. I've sort of stopped, not completely mind you. I leave the house. There are no take out boxes surrounding some sad, self-constructed burrow. Nor have I stopped my daily hygiene rituals. I just stopped doing things. I started planning.
Planning for new houses. Planning for upcoming projects. Planning for after December.

In case you didn't know, planning can steal a life. Instead of living in the present, you're half in the future, and stuck in the now.
And by the way, Pinterest, despite it's wonderfulness, hinders all now living. I'm going to have ground myself from it, and all the future possibilities.

I'm not saying anything against having plans or goals. Those are recommended for healthy living. Or so I've heard from Oprah.

So my new plan is not to plan (at least not so much). And in my efforts to not plan, I'm making a list of things I can plan to DO instead of daydream:

  • Work on writing samples for Fall classes
  • Read
  • Exercise
  • Practice craft skills
Any questions?
